Chapter 3 My blog

"Here's a book.Jesse reached into his briefcase, then threw a paperback book at his client. It was A Gathering of old Men by Ernest J. Gaines. Read it. Look carefully at the language. Read each word aloud. Feel each word on your tongue. Once a week you will copy one paragraph from that book and mail it to me. " ( Vea,70)
I chose this quote to be significant because even though Biscuit boy was going to be in jail for a long time, Jesse didnt want him to lose his education so he gives him a book to read. This shows that Jesse is a kind guy who wants to help people such as Biscuit boy.
Why is the use" time traveling" used in the chapter?
I am a little confused is Calvin known as  "biscuit boy" or is it  eddy?

Chapter 2 my blog

Quote: " Only the most sublime distillations of our craft are recountered here. He raised his arm in a sweeping, evangelical gesture as he spoke. Do you mean said Jesse, smiling, the dude whi was accused of robbery and stood up in court and announced to the judge , your honor, you have to dismiss the case. I cant identify this here victim. This ain't the guy I robbed!!" ( Vea, 37)
Analysis: This quote is significant because it is humor because the robber ask the judge that the victim wasnt the guy he robbed and he should dismiss the case. What makes this quote meaningful is that the fact that the person being prosecuted is telling the judge that they got the wrong victim and that they should cancel the judgment because of that.
Questions: What does the case of the rapist and the burgarly have to do with the two women who are dead?
Why do the lawyers talk about their different cases they have done?
